A charming early to mid-19th century English bench with a beautifully handwoven cane seat. Crafted in the Regency to early Victorian period (c. 1820–1860), this piece showcases wonderful craftsmanship with its 6 turned baluster legs, double stretchers, and rich patina that extends across the piece and exudes quality.
The bench frame is made from hardwood, likely walnut or stained beech, giving it a warm, rich tone that pairs elegantly with the natural cane weave. The seat has been finely handwoven, displaying the timeless geometric pattern typical of the period.

Condition: This is a genuine and original antique piece and is in very Good antique condition with expected signs of age and wear adding to the patina of the piece. The cane seat is fully intact and firm, with some surface wear to the frame consistent with age. There is 1 small missing stretcher which has been pictured however the bench is very sturdy & firm.
